About Us

Founded by Shannon Butkus, M.S, CCC-SLP, Butkus &Associates, Inc. is quickly establishing itself as a provider known for prompt and reliable services. Focusing solely on Speech Therapy Services, primarily in the home setting, we are committed to one-on-one, intensive therapy.  Frequency is critical when working with children. Every day that passes without sound communication skills is a day of missed opportunities to interact with others and to learn.

We believe every child has the potential to learn and grow and focus on the strengths in each child. Because no one knows a child better than the parents, we encourage and promote parental input and emphasize the importance of a partnership with the family when setting goals and working towards optimal outcomes. Listening comes first, and our therapists work to understand the special needs of each family. With creative, family-focused sessions, individually tailored to the needs of each child, the fun often spills over to siblings and the family as a whole as they discover better ways to interact with their special needs child.
